Van Wagner "Macleod's Dream" original alternative folk music, summer and fall 1996.
***NO LONGER AVAILABLE, OUT OF PRINT***
This is Van’s “curve-ball” album. It has been called “the Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” of Van’s tapes. It is a mixed bag of all of the music that Wagner has ventured into through age 20. There are several instrumental arrangements, which are some of the highlights of all of Wagner’s songs to date. There are also well crafted folk songs such as the original versions of “If God was a Color” and “the Story of Scott Wagner,” a song about Van’s uncle who has inspired him throughout his life. Friends Chad Mckonly and Matthew Harrison join Van on several songs. There are also several “curve-balls” on the album that show Wagner’s ability to have fun with his music. Recommended only for true adventurers, but for those brave enough to explore, this may be a refreshing discovery. Recorded summer 1996.
