Van's great voice and instrumental abilities will have you thanking yourself that you purchased this CD. I consider Van a great songwriter because he writes songs that touch people's emotions. Everybody knows a guy like "Smokeless Joe," everybody has a special "Flat Bottom Town" that they call home, and if you need a good laugh then listen to "Must Have Been My Guitar." Overall, a great collection by a great singer-songwriter. I proudly play it on my radio show. "
